Summer 2010: PFW

Alber Elbaz is on a role. His latest collection for Lanvin, which showed at Paris Fashion Week this week, was founded upon the feminine glamour that has become trademark to the designer's style. Complex ruffles, drapes, gathers and pleats were testament to Elbaz' technical capabilities, and adorned everything from short dresses to sweeping floor-length gowns with high splits; tailored jackets to jumpsuits. The exotic statement jewellery that accessorised the collection made it all the more complete - chunky chains, writhing Medusa snakes, and jaguar heads amoung them.
