Zambesi Spring/Summer 2009/2010
Forget the economic downturn. Who cares! At least, that's seems to be the message that Zambesi communicated by way of their bold choices for Spring/Summer 2009/2010 at Rosemount Australia Fashion Week (RAFW).
And while we of the fairer sex are not likely to give up on outlandish snap purchases so easily, we're wondering whether the need to be financially cautious will keep men sticking to safer choices, rather than hot-pink suits and harness belts.

Alternative favourite Alpha60 showcased a Spring/Summer 2009/2010 collection at this week's Rosemount Australia Fashion Week (RAFW) that was marked by muted colours and characteristically unfussy cuts.

It seems that hardly a shoot goes by these days without at least an inkling of the nudity fashion trend. We love this simple but striking shoot of Malgosia Bela in Vogue Paris, which gets a bit dirty and gritty, and of course includes the currently-ubiquitous pairing of nudity and ripped denim in one series of shots.

London label e.g... have just launched a debut collection which grabbed our eye for its interesting shapes and unique mix of the futuristic and the classic. Accurately described as being for a split personality - "a tough tomboy with a youthful girly look" - the collection sports many accentuated shoulders (a growing trend), sharply structured pieces, and contrasting drapes and folds.
