Sass & Bide Spring/Summer 2012 Lookbook

Invest in fabulous unexpected pieces this summer to be able to stand out relatively effortlessly. Check out the latest Sass & Bide spring/summer 2012 lookbook for outfit inspiration to expand your array of choices and look spectacular.

Carefree style is a perfect match for warm spring and summer days, so it is natural to see a multitude of outfits that cater to our need for exciting effortless alternatives. The Australian fashion retailer Sass& Bide is definitely on board for fulfilling such requests with eclectic and creative attire choices meant to be slightly obscure yet beautiful, with a vision for attention grabbing options that don't necessarily follow the style direction set in the previous seasons.

The new face of the brand, Nicole Pollard, reflects the new found idea of the brand with ease and looks absolutely stunning while doing so. Different silhouettes, styles, fabrics and textures are skillfully blended together into fab choices that are bold yet comfy. Watercolor polka dots, floral prints, embroidery and unexpected neoprene inserts are some of the most interesting elements that are found in many of the style alternative suggestions.

Metallic tones, leather and vinyl or denim might seem like unlikely combos, however the choices presented manage to be quite chic and alluring. Asymmetry can also add a touch of edginess, so such elements are also included for a greater versatility and increased wow factor possibility. With a mix of classy, easy to mix and match pieces and hot-off-the-runway like pieces, the latest collection can appeal to several types of shoppers and style perspectives. Keeping an adequate balance between the two is part of the charm of the latest lookbook.

Although outfits as a whole are exciting enough, certain pieces tend to land quite easily on our must have list: fab jackets, bold cut dresses, striped patterned pieces and funky shorts are fabulous examples of pieces that can spice up your new season outfits with a relatively low amount of effort. The statement value of such pieces can definitely be useful when you are not in the mood of engaging in elaborate layering style rules and the like.

Denim maintains its supremacy in fashion this season. With a comprehensive list of styles and outfits ideas, the Citizens of Humanity spring/summer 2012 lookbook makes the hunt for the hottest denim piece simpler and more convenient.

Denim will never go out of style and with the multitude of fabulous style choices available today it's easy to understand why. Looking for the perfect pair of jeans might be a challenging task, yet the Citizens of Humanity brand makes it easy by offering several alluring choices to choose from in its spring 2012 lookbook. Casual and effortless choices, figure flattering jeans and a mix of washes for an added diversity are all present in the latest collection.

The great diversity of styles available is a clear sign that solely focusing on the hottest fashion trends is not the main concern of the brand. If acid washed jeans have taken a back seat in the last few seasons, the brand anticipates the need for a quick and easy comeback. However, colored styles and even prints are also included in the extensive collection created by the brand in order to satisfy the consumer need for a quick update. Utilitarian urban accents can be sensed in the slim fitting flared styles while a boho chic vibe is noticeable on the loose fitting ones.

Shorts, vests, flared pants, rolled up jeans or skirts of varying lengths are the seriously chic pieces that tempt us to include them in our closets in the new season and it can be incredibly hard to resist the versatility that such pieces can add to our outfits of choice. Naturally, finding the best choices depends greatly on your body shape and the impression you are trying to create. Finding a flattering alternative should not be a problem due to the extensive styles provided by the company.

While not the main emphasis of the collection, paying attention to all the tees and the accessories included in the collection is also worthwhile since it can provide you with interesting intuitive choices to vary your look without making too many upfront investments. Pastel colored tees or striped ones, flat gladiator inspired sandals and belts are some of the alternatives used by the brand. Update your closet with high quality denim pieces that will stand the test of time and make you look fabulous every time.

"We are really excited to have Alexa be part of our story, especially for the centennial year anniversary. She is one of the most influential style icons of our time and a huge Superga fan. I think her effortless style and personality suits our own collection and brand so well," said Simon Bamber, chief executive officer of GLindverst, the company that owns the rights for Superga in the UK.

The new Superga spring/summer 2012 campaign was named 'Go Create' and it was shot in Miami. The collaboration between Chung and Superga began last year when the Brit beauty modeled for the 100-year-old sneaker brand's spring campaign. Known for her unique rather quirky style, Ms Chung has been chosen as the label's face due to her effortless style and personality. Speaking about Superga’s centennial celebrations, Chung said that, "I'm a fan of Superga because like anything I love how they're classic, practical and elegant. Pixie Lott misses again in sheer polka dot maxi skirt

Can you spot another fashion slip up? Pixie Lott misses again in sheer polka dot maxi skirt

She can usually be counted upon to step out looking enviably stylish.
But the last few days haven't exactly been Pixie Lott's best fashion-wise.
The 21-year-old arrived at the Radio 1 Live Lounge today wearing an odd full-length sheer polka dot skirt.

The star's modesty was protected by a black mini skirt underneath.
She teamed her unusual choice with a high-necked black top and leather jacket with a leopard print lining.
Pixie accessorised with two pale gold crucifixes and a delicate chain bracelet.

The Mama Do singer tweeted before her slot: 'Getting ready for my Live Lounge for @bbcr1 and @fearnecotton. Tune in v soon cats!! Aggaga! Xx'
Pixie sang a cover of Lloyd's hit single 'Dedication To My Ex (Miss That)', which features Lil Wayne and Andre 3000, for her Live Lounge slot.

She explained to presenter Fearne Cotton: 'I chose it because I was listening to all the recent stuff at the moment, and I like songs with a bit of soul in it.'
I though we could take it and interpret it in our own way just rough it up a bit.''
Pixie also divulged that she intends to release more singles from her latest offering, Young Foolish Happy and hopes to promote the LP in Japan when it is released in February.

Her most recent single Kiss The Stars is Pixie's third top ten hit from the record, which charted at number 18 in November last year.
While Pixie doesn't usually need to worry as far as her vocals are concerned, it can't be denied that this hasn't been her week when it comes to wardrobe choices.

She turned up to film ITV Daybreak yesterday wearing another unfortunate ensemble which did little to flatter her many attributes.
Pixie wore a sleeveless leopard print dress with a sheer grey blouse sporting a leopard print collar and cuffs for her appearance.
